"The elders plan to select and lay hands on certain holy men and women within All Peoples Church to facilitate certain areas of service within the church that would otherwise distract the elders from the ministry of the Word and prayer on an ongoing basis. These deacons will attend to certain tangible, physical needs and tasks to promote the spiritual flourishing of our whole church family. We will be a better church because of them."
